Details
The chromogenic substrate pEPR-pNA has been used for the determination of kinetic constants of tryptase (EC 3.4.21.59) from guinea pig (Km = 0.24 - 0.26 mM) and human (Km = 0.24 - 0.43 mM). Pyr-Pro-Arg-pNA has also been used as substrate for the coagulation factor XIa. Km and kcat values for this substrate were 0.56 mM and 350 s⁻¹, respectively.
