Details
Reverse sequence of Aβ42, inactive control for the Aβ. Treating Aβ-peptides with 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) is the standard method for disrupting amyloid fibrils and generating the Aβ monomers. Working with HFIP-treated Aβ-peptides has the advantage of getting more reproducible results whereas untreated Aβ-peptides may contain varying amounts and types of oligomeric structures.
