Details
The nanotube formation of Fmoc-FF has been studied by Gazit and Reches.
Jayawarna et al. found that this self-assembling dipeptide forms fibrous hydrogels at pH<8. Such hydrogels are excellently suited for 3D cell microculture formation, they can be modified by addition of Fmoc-amino acids as Fmoc-Lys-OH.
