Details
Substrate for a spectrophotometric assay of angiotensin I-converting enzyme. ACE cleavage of Hip-His-Leu yields hippuric acid and His-Leu (G-2310), which can be quantified by generating a fluorescent adduct with o-phthalaldehyde. Schwager et al. developed a high-throughput fluorometric assay for ACE employing Hip-His-Leu.
