Synthetic product. Chemokine agonist with potent anti-HIV-1 activity and altered receptor specificity. Relative to the non-truncated form RANTES (3-68) (human) retained its ability to stimulate CCR5 receptors but exhibited an altered specificity for CCR1 and CCR3 receptors.
