D-1570
Boc-D-Asn-PAM resin (200-400 mesh)
| Longterm storage temperature: | +5 ± 3 °C | |
| Substitution: | 0.4-0.7 mmol/g |
|
Family Description:
Resins based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene 1%.
The ester bond between the C-terminal amino acid and Merrifield resin turned out to be not sufficiently stable towards the repetitive treatments with TFA during the Boc-SPPS of long peptides. To avoid such losses the phenylacetamido (PAM) handle has been developed to create a more acid-stable peptide-resin linkage. Cleavage is normally effected by treatment with HF.
