Nephilatoxins

The neurotoxins NPTX-9 and NPTX-11, which were isolated from the Joro Spider (Nephila clavata), have been shown to have potent activites on the mast cell degranulation as well as on the specific interruption of the glutaminergic neuromuscular transmission.
