Globin Adduct Detection Standards

These N-modified peptides are used as standards for the determination of the extent of the N-terminal globin modification in erythrocytes of people exposed to alkylating agents or to triazinyl derivatives. Isolated globin is submitted to Edman degradation and the thiohydantoin derivatives are separated and quantified by GC-MS, with the help of these standards.
