Amyloid-like Protein 1 (APLP1) Sequences

Amyloid precursor-like protein 1 (APLP1) is a membrane-associated glycoprotein, whose gene is homologous to the APP gene. APLP1 was shown to be involved in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. Contrary to the β-amyloid peptides excised from APP, the peptides resulting from the enzymatic processing of APLP1 are not neurotoxic.
