Acetalins
These peptides are named acetalins (acetylated enkephalins) due to their opioid binding characteristics and the presence of the N-terminal acetyl group. They are opioid receptor ligands with high affinity for µ and K3 receptors, weak affinity for K1 receptors and no affinity for K2 receptors.
