Macrophages (Late Stage Inflammation)

25F9 is useful for macrophage phenotyping (positive on macrophages but not on monocytes), the classification of late inflammatory stages (together with 27E10, RM3/1, and G16/1) in tissue sections and smears, characterization of tumorous tissues and the monitoring of macrophage cell cultures. Some epithelia share the 25F9 antigen.
