In order to ensure that you receive freshly iodinated tracers, peptides are radiolabeled every two weeks or as demand requires. Each preparation is quality control tested for performance in our radioimmunoassay systems. Tracers are tested for antibody binding efficiency, low background and high sensitivity. Customers who require special performance criteria should contact our technical support group. 125I-labeled peptides are supplied in liquid form with 50 % acetic acid and shipped on dry ice. If you order the tracer in lyophilized form, upon reconstitution in 1.0 ml of distilled water, the solution contains 0.1 M sodium phosphate, pH 7.4 and 2 % bovine serum albumin (BSA).
