Cystine

As the disulfide bond can be cleaved under mild conditions (e.g. with trialkylphosphines) cystine derivatives are highly economic educts for synthesizing Cys derivatives. The cystine derivatives of fluorophores (e.g. J-1175) or the pNA derivatives may be chosen as educts for synthesizing Cys substrates.
